    PLUG: Common Sense Movie Reviews

    November 26th – January 1st At http://www.commonsensemoviereviews.com/

Last year I decided to be a Scrooge and not watch any Christmas themed films and therefore deemed it to be a holiday season full of Hammer Horror, I thoroughly enjoyed it and got a nice response from some of my fellow Hammer fans so this year I’m bringing it back… with a twist. In an attempt to not exclude the tastes of everyone this years Hammer...

    PLUG: Where Danger Lives

Over the next few months on the Where Danger Lives blog, I¹ll be counting
down the 100 greatest posters of film noir. The posters are being considered
on the basis of their artistic merit, concept, memorability, and so forth
‹ not on the quality of the films they represent. For example, the poster
for Double Indemnity, possibly the most iconic and well-known film noir,
didn’t make the list. Stop by the blog...

    PLUG: Final Cut
I’m starting a new feature on my blog that I’m keen for people to get involved with: Battle of the Sexes.

That’s a working title… Basically, I want to start a new feature based on the differing views of men and women regarding certain types of films. Audiences are far too easily pigeonholed and a lot of films don’t get the kind of viewing figures they deserve because of the assumptions people make about them...
