Last year I decided to be a Scrooge and not watch any Christmas themed films and therefore deemed it to be a holiday season full of Hammer Horror, I thoroughly enjoyed it and got a nice response from some of my fellow Hammer fans so this year I’m bringing it back… with a twist. In an attempt to not exclude the tastes of everyone this years Hammer Holiday Marathon will span the entire Hammer catalog with reviews of two films from each decade of the film company’s existence during the periods of the 1930’s – 1970’s. So we should have a nice mixture of thrillers, horrors and noir. Below are the ten films I’ll be reviewing in the order I’ll be reviewing them, no particular reason for the choices they’re simply a selection of Hammer films I’ve been meaning to watch. Also look for more editions of the Women of Hammer feature and a few other special bonus reviews of Hammer related goodness.
Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, don’t get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details (what, when, where, and a link, for starters) – I’ll handle the rest.
