Site Name: Dave’s Movie Reviews

What is the main focus of your site (reviews, editorials, news, lists, etc.)?
At Dave’s Movie Reviews I focus on reviews, but also have a section called Deeper Thoughts that focuses on the deeper meanings or philosophy of films.

What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
Dave’s Movie Reviews was started with the intent to share my passion for movies with others. I would love to build DMR up to more than just a review blog. It’s current goal is just to provide good reviews and discussion about movies with later goals being to host people’s videos in an all movie environment. This would allow others that are interested in good movies the chance to share their work and critique others.

Do you prefer an interactive ‘community’ for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers are the students?
The more interaction Dave’s Movie Reviews can be the better. We can all learn from each other whether this is the first time we have seen a movie or whether we have a film degree and have watched thousands of movies.

How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
Dave’s Movies Reviews was started in June of 2007 and on a typical week I have 4-7 updates.

Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Braveheart, The Saint, and Amelie.

How did you hear about the LAMB?
Blogging around I came across a great site called Blog Cabins, which is the first time I heard about LAMB. I was not sure what it was at first, but once I found out I thought that there would be nothing better than to join a group of movie bloggers. We can all help grow the community that way.
