No, I’m actually quite a sycophant!
I just love Australia because it’s an brilliant, romantic, thrilling, entertaining, heartbreaking/warming, incredibly flawed, uber-expensive epic, with a shirtless/wet Hugh Jackman thrown in. Being one of the only people who love it and think it didn’t deserve to flop just makes me defend it more often.
Slumdog is just good. I resent the fact it’s going to win so many Oscars, is all.
I loved Slumdog Millionaire, but it definitely didn’t deserve 10 nominations. Although I do feel it was better than Benjamin Button.
