Hello, CS of Big Thoughts From A Small Mind here reminding you about tomorrow’s deadline for the Slasher edition of Pitch the LAMB.
Helpful Tips: Keep your pitch simple and have fun with it. If you are stuck on what to write, take three or four items from the words/phrases list and try to weave them into a sentence. If you are still stuck, try coming up with a a random title for the film. As we have seen with Dud, Where’s My Car? sometimes the film will write itself given the proper title. Remember the “pitch” can be as long or as short as you like. If you only come up with four or five lines, still submit it!
Movie Genre: Slasher Film
Examples of the Genre: Psycho, Child’s Play, Scream, A Nightmare on Elm Street, House of 1000 Corpses, Friday the 13th, Haute Tension, Prom Night, House of Wax, Halloween, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, American Psycho.

- Corpse
- Legend has it that…
- Camping

As always, your job is to come up with an idea for a film using some of the words/phrases listed above. Once you have a plot idea, post it on your blog in any fashion you choose (e.g. plot synopsis, excerpt of a script, fictional trailer, fictional film review, fake movie poster, etc.) and email the link to [email protected]. Simple as that! The deadline for submissions is Tuesday May 25, 2010.
