It seems most of us take scores from sites like Rotten Tomatoes into consideration for what films to watch, but they’re not the absolute deciding factor, which is what I assumed. I was surprised at the 27% who ignore them completely.
Next, I want to know what your thoughts are on the recent Netflix price change. It seems to be a mixed bag of anger and apathy. What say you? Will you be keeping with Netflix all the way, dropping one of the options, or quitting altogether?
I think this one’s going to be a trickier question. If streaming content improves significantly and DVDs are available more rapidly (I’ve been waiting for over a year for the first disc of Dexter, Season 3) then the price changes aren’t a deal breaker. If no changes happen, then I’ll probably reduce my subscription or drop the service.
I’m looking more for gut reaction than anything. I heard a lot of people say they were quitting Netflix altogether or at least dropping one feature the day this was announced, not considering any future changes.
