We are starting the new year soon, and that means we need a new Movie of the Month for January. The choices are wide open and you can certainly find something you would like to talk about.
Howard Casner of “Pop Art” has submitted “The American Astronaut” from 2001 for what may be the third time. Persistence pays off if you want it to.
Dave Anderson of “Free Kittens Movie Guide” thinks...
There is a short window for the MOTM poll this October, in part because we are doing a Horror draft the next week and we want to get those episodes in before the actual day of Halloween. As usual, the October MOTM is Horror related and we have quite a slate of films for you to choose from.
Matthew Simpson from the “Awesome Friday Podcast” has submitted the Sam Rami curse film from 2009, “Drag Me to...
A late start on this poll but the MOTM show is the last Sunday of the month, so we should have time to get plenty of voting in.
Jeanette Ward had a vision several months ago and she is now suggesting the 1986 Thriller “FX” starring Bryan Brown and Brian Dennehy.
FXHoward Casner is changing it up this month, giving up on his dreams of space and reverting to classic Hollywood, with the comedy/drama/romance...
The LAMBcast had a draft of 1984 films recently and you get to pass judgement on the selections. It was a great year for movies 40 years ago, and we found six LAMBs willing to throw down with their choices. It’s your turn to chime in and let us know which 1984 film slate best satisfies your film dreams. The poll will be up until the end of August. The winner will be announced then. The only prize is pride.
Aaron...
We need a quick turnaround on the MOTM Poll. Fortunately, there are only three submissions so your vote is unlikely to be diluted by the short voting window.
Howard Casner of “Pop Art” has submitted The American Astronaut a Musical/Comedy/Sci Fi from 2001.
Jason Soto, from “Rabbit Hole Podcasts” suggests Late Night with the Devil, a very fresh horror film from...
We have submissions from some fairly active LAMBs this Month. Three of these folks have been on the show in the last month and all of them are welcome guests. Whichever wins will have a Lambcast episode dedicated to it. Vote at the bottom of the page, but first here are the nominees:
The Last Starfighter-Matthew Simpson Awesome Friday Podcast
Drop Dead Fred-Heather Baxendale-Walsh Word of Hellmouth...
Continuing a tradition started several years ago by the previous host of the LAMBcast, the choices for the Movie of the Month Poll for February all come from Richard, the Host of the LAMBcast, who celebrates his birthday in February. This year. The host has offered up seven films for you to vote on, that are all Blindspots for him. There is a sixty year span of films to choose from. Was Richard lazy, afraid. or just disdainful of this set of...
The poll will be open for the month of November. Be sure to vote for you favorite slate of films, and go and watch all of the movies you haven’t seen yet from these lists. You will be glad you did.
Don’t let the two Queen Scores, Schwarzenegger Films, Max Von Sydow appearances, Ron Howard Films, Jim Henson Productions, Unicorn...
We have had Alien vs. Predator, Jason vs. Freddy and enough Superhero faceoffs in both the Marvel and DC worlds, to fill a dozen podcasts. It’s time for something a little different. We brought together five stars that are known for their Action Chops in a variety of movies. Buddy Cop films, Science Fiction extravaganzas, and Hong Kong Martial arts movies all make it to the show. Five Lambs enter and two remain, and you, the LAMB...
Well the last poll was certainly the clash of the Bond films. The two top dogs were old-school classic Goldfinger and the semi-rebooty Casino Royale. In the end Goldfinger won with a mere vote making it one of the closest polls we have had in a while. Coming in on third place was License to Kill hence helped by Dan Heaton campaigning it for the Movie of the Month maybe (even though I’d say its by far the best Bond film).
When...
Well the last poll was a close one. The topic was best of the best when it comes to movie trilogy’s. In the end it came down to neck to neck race between Star Wars Original Trilogy (4-6) and Lord of the Rings who came out on top winning by only two votes.
The last few days there have been some frequent discussions about which is the best James Bond film so I thought it would make for a good topic! You have two weeks!…
