I kid, of course. Yes, before you get started, you should know that this is a bit of a marathon episode, clocking in at just under two hours (which I frown upon from other weekly podcasts). However, after having listening to most of it in the editing process, I can tell you that Jason and the gang – he was joined by James, Tom, Sam, and his usual podcasting partner, Nolahn – have put together a show that takes full advantage of every minute in discussing the Top 5s each of them brought to the table.

  1. I was a little wary of the length of the podcast, but I’m glad that I listened because it was a great discussion. I even scrolled back and replayed Nolahn’s excellent rant! Hopefully you’ll inspire a LAMB letter writing campaign to Disney. Also really loved Tom’s reviews from the film festival. Great job all around.

  2. I never understood the hate against “long” podcasts. I know a lot that go well over 2 hours and they’re weekly. Including famous celebrity ones. Hell, doesn’t Kevin Smith’s go like 4 hours? And he’s the #1 Podcast on iTunes. So…yeah.

Anyway, glad people dug the episode. It was a lot of fun. I totally want to do it again soon.

  3. Jason: Kevin Smith is probably number one on iTunes for other reasons than its a good podcast. I tried to listen in on one of his shows but turned it off after 5 minutes due to the ranty/preachy/noisy tone to it.

  4. Jason – Smith also has a buttload of fanboys and people willing to listen to super long podcasts. Your average movie blogger/podcaster…does not. I speak from experience. There are a few podcasts that I enjoy but have taken out of my roster because if I listen to them weekly, I won’t have time for two or three others each week.
