Things are starting to heat up now that we’re in the first winners bracket for Round 5. Sorry this was delayed a bit longer than I planned, so this round’s open until Friday night, and Round 6 will be up Saturday morning. We’re down to 32 posters from the original 66. Thanks for making this such a joy to run. The last round had a total of 23 votes including 2 private votes. The following posters move on to the next round: Garbo Laughs, Bargain Bin Review, Man I Love Films, Journeys in Classic Films, Film-Classics, Flights, Tights, and Movie Nights, Love & Squalor, and Cinematic Corner Congratulations! We’re already almost halfway done, so let’s keep the momentum going!

The posters are listed in 8 pairs below, your task is to pick which is the better poster for all 8 match ups. There are links to each site, but remember the voting is for just the poster. To vote, just leave a comment below with your choices. If you wish to vote privately, you may send your picks to [email protected]. Votes will not be counted unless all 8 matches are picked, also anonymous votes will not be counted. Voting will stay open for this round until Friday night at 11PM Eastern. Good luck to the new batch of posters, and may the best Lamb win!

Guess that’s me out then, I’m getting a bit of a pasting here.

    1. I gotta say – I LOVE your FYC, LvsF. Anytime someone gets creative and inspired with LAMB-related art, I feel touched and awed. And that’s hand-drawn, ain’t it?

The only downside to it is that, ironically, it’s your site’s name that’s the hardest to read in that “font.” Looks like it says “Lyers silm” That hurts in an FYC-type campaign – the people gotta know who they’re considering! 😀

    2. Thanks Dylan. Now you’ve said what it looks like, I can’t not see it! Guess I’m too close to the name to not read it, might have to consider redo-ing the logo on my site, I’ve used the same style!

    3. I know – and I felt bad for saying that knowing that you would connect those dots, but…I can’t help it, it’s true. And hopefully changing it ever so slightly would be a benefit in the long run. It is a really cool idea and I was impressed how you turned it into the FYC ad (loved the lambs the best, of course!), but that “f” – what can I say?
