PLUG: Documentary Submissions

Call for documentary submissions.

I’ve had tons of movie ideas over the last couple of years but only one has stayed fresh in my mind. It’s a religious documentary, but in some ways it’s not. What I’m looking for is people of religious and even anti-religious authority to participate in the film. All they have to do is answer one question. I’m not going to say what that question is because I don’t want the idea stolen. If you aren’t an authority figure in religion but have strong religious connections, you can still participate. All you’d have to do is email some video of yourself answering the aforementioned question. It doesn’t have to be a hollywood camera, you can use any sort of HD digital camera. Just make sure you mount it on a tripod or set on something steady. Anyone who’d like to participate can send me an email at

There’s no pay involved. There will probably be no pay involved for me either. You will be forfeiting rights to any footage you send. There is a chance the film will be screened when it’s done, but who knows when that will be. You can participate in this project no matter what your religion. Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, Christians and Atheists are all invited. And all the religions I’ve forgotten. (Any Vikings out there?

Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, don’t get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details (what, when, where, and a link, for starters) – I’ll handle the rest.
