We try to keep our promises here on the Lambcast. A Month ago, we talked about the “Final Destination” Franchise and we agreed to come back to talk about the new entry when it dropped in May. Everyone technically has returned, although Richard had to cheat a little to do so. We had no doubt that Lisa Leaheey would be here, she championed the Franchise for four years running and would not miss savoring a new dish on the menu. Matthew Simpson provides us with the low down on the Canadian Locations of the film while Aaron Neuwirth promises insights from the creator of the series on an upcoming episode of his own podcast. Justin Gott returns to the Lambcast after a long absence to fill in for Richard and Jay Cluitt, takes up his former post as the host of the podcast, at least for this one episode.

While in L.A. and missing the show recording, Richard did capture this moment to add the the proceedings.

“Bloodlines” is the sixth “Final Destination” film and it revives the franchise after a 14 year fallow period. There are some new twists in the premise but the film stays true to it’s roots. We get elaborate deaths, filled with red herring moments and Rube Goldberg style steps. We will not pass judgement on you for enjoying the grim proceedings, after all, we are bad people too.
