Hey everyone. Robert from Sketchy Details back with another edition of Foreign Chops. I apologize for getting this up so late in the month. I got overwhelmed with work obligations and lost track of time. The timing is going to be different to compensate for my mistake.
This month, we’re looking for your best reviews, write-ups, interviews, editorials, comics, what have you about European Horror films. It’s a wide open topic to celebrate my favorite time of the year. October is when it’s suddenly a-okay to celebrate horror movies, dress up in scary costumes, and explore the dark side of life. What better way than to pay tribute to the continent that brought us Mario Bava, Dario Argento, Lucio Fulci, and many more horror auteurs? European horror is a wide open topic allowing for everything from the classic German expressionism of Nosferatu to the modern bizarro horror of Greece’s Dogtooth. If it’s a European horror movie, we’ll take it.
Let’s open submissions up through Wednesday, 16 October for a post date of Thursday, 17 October. E-mail up to five submissions per site (not per author, per site total) to [email protected]. I’ll send you a confirmation e-mail to let you know I received your submissions. The next foreign chops topic will be announced on the 18th and will go back to the regular schedule of the first Thursday of the month.
