If you’re new to this feature or need a refresher, click the label at the bottom of this post and see the previous posts. Otherwise, here are the basics:
What I do is list a site; you critique it. But here’s the catch: to induce the most honest reactions, don’t leave the comment using your normal alias/login – instead, go anonymous (for now you probably need to comment through bogus information and I’ll moderate all comments through), and be as brutally honest (or complimentary) as you wish to be. Also, be specific, and naturally, don’t be rude. If I deem anything inappropriate, I’ll have no problem deleting the comment.
Site: Where the Long Tail Ends
LAMB: #94
Not a fan of the design of the site. Sure, the card are cool, but you need to hover over each one just to see what it is about, plus you only have four of them, which does not motivate users to keep clicking and hovering over articles just to see if there is something they might want to read. It just does not feel very inviting. The font in the articles itself is quite hard to read. On the pages as well there are way too many sharing options as the options to share are repated: “Sharing is caring!” AND Share this. Add to that the infomation of the author and the information about the post taking lots of space, you have to scroll quite a bit to just leave a comment.
It is not a site I would like to visit on a regular basis.
