Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at The LAMB

by Robert Gannon · March 12, 2014 · Featured, Features · 2 Comments

Robert back again with another national holiday celebration. We’re setting our sights on the cinema of Ireland in honor of St. Patrick’s Day on March 17. Ireland is responsible for a lot of films you might not even realize, including a long string of popular animated films in the 80s and 90s (including The Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and The Pebble and the Penguin). It’s also a popular shooting location for films and we’ll add those into the mix, too.

Here’s how it works. E-mail robertjgannon@gmail.com your links on everything Irish cinema (reviews, editorials, retrospectives, interviews, etc.) by Sunday, March 16. On March 17, I’ll gather up all the links and share them on the site.

  1. Lucien says:

I consider myself the LAMB’s resident Irish Patriot, and I would like to thank you kindly for doing this feature!

  2. That makes two of us, though my country makes some seriously awful films.
