| What is the main focus of your site? | CineFiles is a place for reviews of movies new and old and the general discussion of film. Mainly, I try to mix reviews of mainstream and indie films. I also do trailer reviews and lists. |
| What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog? | First and foremost, I blog for enjoyment. Additionally, the writing and technical skills gained through blogging are good career skills. |
| Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students? | I love the idea of an interactive community. If possible, I want my blog to be a place for open film conversation. I will never claim to be a “teacher” of film, unless I get a PhD in film studies. Then I’ll write a textbook or something. |
| How long has this site been active for, and how frequently do you post updates to your site? (Note: sites must be active for at least three months for entry to the LAMB.) | The site has been up for 1 year and 4 months. I try to post weekly, but it all depends on what I’ve watched. Some weeks I have two-four posts, and other weeks I will have zero-one. |
