The Movie of the Month for August 2018 is…

The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!

There’s no surprise who the winning champion for August’s Movie of the Month is – it could only be me, as I banned anyone else from submitting films, as is my megalomaniacal way. No, the surprise this month is which of the ten films we’ll be discussing. I was going to be happy with whatever won, but I honestly didn’t think that, considering the numerous acclaimed films to choose from, the movie we’d be discussing is… Snakes on a Plane!

The Lambcast dedicated to the movie of the month will be posted on Monday August 6th, so if you have any reviews, features or podcasts on Snakes on a Plane, please send a link to me by August 3rd.

Here are the results of this month’s poll:

Life vs Film remains be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. MovieRob still has two months of ineligibility left. MovieRob will be ineligible for one more month. Forgotten Films is now eligible again.

If you would like to submit a film for September’s Movie of the Month, get in touch!

  1. Hello! I’m a new member of the LAMB, Tiffany Brannan of the Pure Entertainment Preservation Society (#1933): I think that the film of the month for September should be “Gone With The Wind” from 1939. Thank you for letting me join!

    Yours Hopefully,

  2. I don’t even watch Animal Planet for fear they’ll show snakes. Maybe next month I’ll join in….
