It’s never a good sign when a low-ranked film has a lot of reviews, as it generally means a lot of people were looking forward to something, made plans to see it and cared enough to put fingers to keyboard and write a review, but that it just wasn’t good. Alas that’s the case this week with one of my most anticipated films of the year, Shane Black’s The Predator, which under-performed with critics to a disappointing degree. Fortunately that’s not the only film we’re looking at this week, as below you’ll also find the Lambscores for White Boy Rick and A Simple Favor:

If you’ve written a review or recorded a podcast on a new release, find (or create) the thread there, and leave a link to your review, along with your site name and a score out of 5. Three weeks after the film has received a wide release the reviews will be collated and posted here, as long as there are at least five.
