The Godfather! Back to the Future! Indiana Jones! Airport! … Species? That’s right, the latest addition to the ranks of our Movie of the Month franchise specials is the Species franchise, which also joins Airport in garnering my response of “Wait, that’s a franchise?”

As the series’ champion, Vern is once again hosting another Movie of the Month show about a subject with a less than fresh score, and he was joined by Jay & Richard, Mark Hofmeyer and newcomer Matt Roe from Criticlysm. We ran through all four of these surprisingly un-smutty films discussing deaths, plots and ridiculous character names along the way.
