It’s time to vote for June’s Movie of the Month! As is tradition, we use the month of June to celebrate exclusively films directed by female film-makers (which can also be submitted any other month of the year as well, but only female directors can be championed for June). This month there are seven films to choose between, and the winner of the poll will have a Lambcast episode dedicated to it. The poll is at the bottom of the page, but first here are the nominees:

Cleo from 5 to 7 (1962) [Howard Casner, Pop Art]

Mikey and Nicky (1976) [Aaron Neuwirth, The Code is Zeek]

The Hurt Locker (2008) [Daniel Chadwick-Shubat, Get Reel Movies]

Bruised (2020) [Nicole Ayers, The Madlab Post]

The Stylist (2020) [Vern, Cinema Recall]

The Power of the Dog (2021) [Russell Miller, Movies Millers]

Together Together (2021) [Latoya, Francais27 Tales]

Vote for the movie you want to win here! The poll will close on Sunday 5th June, it’s going to end on this date, dammit.
