2025 seems like it was a pretty good year for movies, in spite of all the grousing that you usually hear. Did we have too many remakes, one entry in a franchise past the sell by date, too many vanity projects or Oscar Bait hopefuls that were just worms? Probably. We also had films from respected directors that have received acclaim, passion projects that show you just why an ides is held passionately and original horror stories that feel like they are setting the groundwork for a new era in the genre.

We have a big show with six guests and the host sharing their lists of favorite films, and another half dozen or so lists that got submitted to be shared on the episode. You might be surprised to see some films, confounded by the absence of others and frustrated by the preferences that some guests have. That’s why you want a show like this.

There are interesting lists submitted by Chris Tanski, Todd Liebenow, Aaron Neuwirth, and Dave Anderson. You should be submitting your lists in the comments so that it’s not just bots that are using that feature.
