It’s January, the month where the studios seem to dump their non-awards-worthy fare, so instead of wasting your time listening to podcasts about bad movies, why not listen to us talk about… oh, darn, we’re discussing Ishtar. Sorry about that.
Jay was joined by Ishtar‘s champion Richard, along with a panel ranging from bemused to annoyed, but made up of Rebecca, Sean and Chris.

The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
There have been a few exceptions, but traditionally – an unintentionally – the Movie Of The Month for January is often a film not widely regarded as being critically, um, good. Whether that is the case for January 2018 is yet to be determined, but for now let’s say that if the film turns out to be terrible, I for one won’t be all that surprised....
Ho Ho Ho! It’s December, and the holiday season is in full swing, so it’s time for our latest Christmas-special Movie of the Month, and really what could be more festive than terrorists taking over a skyscraper full of hostages?
That’s right, it’s time to grab your biggest teddy bear, put on your filthiest undershirt, remove your shoes and make fists with your toes because we’re jumping off the roof...

My Girl! My Girl? My Girl! Talkin’ ’bout My Girl!
My Girl won the Movie of the Month for November, so we covered it as one of the mini segments in the epic 400th Lambcast Extravangaza, but it didn’t feel right to short change the movie like that. To make up for it, Kristen, Audrey and Jay stuck around and recorded this special bonus discussion, to dig a little deeper than we were able to do in...
The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
As usual the December Movie of the Month is a holiday special and this year whilst six films were submitted, there may as well have only been one. This poll was over within a few hours of it being opened because one of the submissions is often regarded as not only one of – if not the – greatest Christmas movies of all time, but also one of the best movies full...
It’s time to vote for December’s Movie of the Month! As usual this is a holiday-themed show to help us all get into the festive spirit (don’t worry, the show isn’t recording until December). The poll is at the bottom of the page, but first, the contenders!
The Thin Man (1934) [Howard Casner, Rantings and Ravings]
Black Christmas (1974) [Sean Homrig, 1001 Movies...
The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
Once again persistence has proven successful as this month’s winner is the only film to have been put forward several times – again and again and again – as the movie of the month for November 2017 is… My Girl.…
...Do you love witches? Which witches do you love? Is The Love Witch the witch which you love?
Jess Manzo is the first in a month of guest hosts to take over the Lambcast hosting chair as we look at the Movie of the Month for October, The Love Witch. She was joined by Vern and Tony to cut into its chest cavity and analyse the beating heart within.
Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a game of Last...
It’s Movie of the Month time once again, and this month we’re wading into the thick of it with a British/American political comedy, so what better way to discuss it than with a mix of British and American movie fans?
Jay was joined by In The Loop‘s champion and fellow Brit Tony to duke it out against Richard, Howard and newcomer to the LAMB and the Lambcast, Cameron.
Also on tap: Rants and Raves...
The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
As things will be recorded a little out of sync for the next few weeks, it’s time to announce October’s horror-special movie of the month winner, even though we’ve not yet posted September’s. Don’t worry about it, it’ll all get sorted out in due course, just go with it for now. There was an eclectic mix of 80s, 90s and very recent horror...
