There’s a lot of films in the world. A lot. Like, significantly more than a hundred. It’s pretty damn phenomenal then that two different LAMB members, who to their knowledge are not part of some paranormal cerebral link, submitted the same film for Movie of the Month, and that said film would win. Well, that’s what happened with Ghost World, Terry Zwigoff’s adaptation of Daniel Clowes’ cult graphic novel.

Bubbawheat and The Vern are this week’s joint feature discussion hosts, and were joined by episode host Robert Zerbe (doing a sterling job in his first solo hosting gig), Jess Manzo and newcomer Elwood Jones, filling the role of the Token Brit for the show in regular host Jay’s absence. Also on tap were Rants and Raves of the week and a couple of rounds of Last Lamb Standing.

It’s also time to vote on next month’s movie. I put out the call for MOTM Champions, and the responders are below. The gist is this: I ask for volunteers – people to select a film to be placed on the poll (up to 5 per month, as usual), then promote it on their site, Facebook, Twitter, whatever. Should their film win, they are guaranteed a spot on the LAMBcast episode where we will discuss said film. As a bonus (?), if they want they also get to host that segment of the show. The sites are listed along with the films in the poll below (and in the sidebar). You have one week to vote (and promote your movies!). I’ll be putting out the call for the next MOTM in a few weeks, so stay tuned.
