LAMBcast #72: X-Men: First Class

by Shep. Burman · June 19, 2011 · LAMBcast, Podcasts · 13 Comments

Dylan, James and Rachel are joined by not one but two new members of the LAMBcast class – Sam of Duke and the Movies and Dan of Lee and Dan’s Midnight Movie Club – as we discuss that supposed First Class of X-Men. We also get into a spirited debate over that eternal question: To Popcorn or Not To Popcorn?

Also on tap:

* Rants of the Week
* Raves of the Week
* Last LAMB Standing

If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too. Either here in the comments section or to or to our Facebook page. Also, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one.

Thanks for listening!

  1. Dan says:

    Hang on! This podcast is about The Thing and doesn’t have me in it AT ALL!! This is an outrage!! I demand my money back!

  2. Dylan says:

    Yeah, I dunno what’s up with podomatic – seems to be taking forever to publish it. In due time. I’d take down the post, but I know the moment I do, it’ll be up and ready. Just check back later if it’s not there for ya, folks. Sorry for the inconvenience.

  3. @Dan–You have been overwhelmed by my awesomeness.

  4. Joel Burman says:

    Why isin’t the iTunes feed update???

  5. Joel Burman says:

    Now it works but it sure took some time.

  6. Dylan says:

    Holy crap – it finally works?!? 😉

    I tied to upload it several times and it kept saying “Publishing.” I gave up and figured it would go live…eventually.

    Podomatic is allowed a screwup every now and then, I suppose. Glad it’s finally working.

  7. Duke says:

    With the exception of my cold-sounding self, everyone did a very good job.

    Great job Dylan, Dan, James, and Rachel.

  8. Rachel says:

    It took about 8 hours for Reel Insight to publish yesterday too. Glad it wasn’t just me.

  9. Joel Burman says:

    Good show guys, I’m glad you weren’t all pro x-men in the cast. I agreed very much with James this time.

  10. Good show! I don’t generally see much in theaters, but now I think I might make time for this one before it goes away.

  11. Joel Burman says:

    Steve save your cash for Transformers 3 instead! =)

  12. Not gonna happen, since I didn’t see either of the first two Transformers films.
