What is the main focus of your site?
The goal of The Gold Knight blog is to inform the masses about all things surrounding the Oscars, with the occasional digression. Movie reviews of potential Oscar-nominated films are also featured.
What are your blogging goals, personally and/or professionally? In other words, what, if anything, are you trying to get out your blog?
The Gold Knight is all about the Oscars, counting down to the next ceremony and predicting the winners. As editor, my goal is to make it simple for people to learn what’s going in the Oscars world. I enjoy sharing my Oscar knowledge and obsession with others. I also work to be the best researched and written Oscar news source out there.
Do you prefer an interactive community for your blog or are you the teacher and your readers the students?
I almost feel I’m the student sometimes. I have some correspondents who really open my eyes after reading their reviews and posts. I enjoy interaction and conversations.
How long have you been movie blogging for, and how frequent do you post updates to your site?
The Gold Knight blog officially launched September 2010, but I have been blogging and writing about the Oscars since 2008.
Name up to three of your favorite movies (and no more).
Jurassic Park, The Dark Crystal, The American President
How did you hear about the LAMB?
I saw LAMB featured on Julian Stark’s blog (julianstark-moviesandotherthings.blogspot.com).
Any additional comments, or give yourself an interview question that’s not listed above.
Movies are works of art and have individual interpretations. I love hearing different perspectives on a given movie. A movie you can talk about is a movie worth seeing.
