What can you say – nay, what do you need to say about Nic Cage?  It’s a good bet that volumes of texts will be written about the man within a few decades.  College courses taught about the man.  Religions possibly formed (or destroyed?) by his aura.  He’s basically Star Wars in the form of a singluar actor.

As such, it was only fitting that he be the subject of one of our actor career drafts.  Also as such, with him being the subject, I saw fit to make the draft as loco as possible.  It’s been a while since I had as much fun editing a show as I did here.  Hope you enjoy it.

In on the draft was Jay, Joe, Justin, and Dylan.  A poll for you all to decide who ended up with the best “team” will be up soon.

Also on tap:

* Rants and Raves of the Week
* Name That Year Times Five

Thanks for listening!

  1. Great show, always love the draft… but this one stunned me. Moonstruck dropping to the 6th round? No love for cheese-fests such as Season of the Witch, Snake Eyes or Valley Girl? No Peggy Sue Got Married?

    1. I took Moonstruck and I’m no massive fan of it, the presence of Cher (and her highly undeserved Oscar) brings the film down for me. Cage is decent though. I’ll admit I do need to see it again though. And I’m afraid I haven’t seen the other films you mentioned, and when I brought up the idea of Snake Eyes sounding fun I was shouted down!
