The results are in and the people have spoken! On episode #176 of The LAMBcast , we held our fourth Actor’s Career Draft, in which Nolahn, Nick, Jay, Todd, and Dylan cycled through Nic Cage’s, ahem, eclectic filmography, selecting films of his to be on our “teams” for our own mythical film festivals. It was filled with great films, terrible films, greatly terrible films and terribly great films, all (or at least mostly) filled with interesting performances. We also had some fun Cage-ing up the draft itself (seriously, have a listen!)
Once we did that, we slapped up a poll and asked you fine LAMB members to tell us who came away with the best (or at least, least worst) selection of films. And the winner is… see below.
We’ll no doubt have another Actor’s Career Draft on a future LAMBcast. If you’d like to join us for that, or any other LAMBcast, we love new blood. Just go to the Forums and keep an eye out there (or on FB or on Twitter) for the calls for volunteers.
I’m happy with second place, but well done to Dylan. If you hadn’t stolen Kick-Ass I think this would be a different story.
Yeah, I think Kick-Ass carried Dylan. Justin should have won.
Justin…with The Weather Man and The Family Man? Turn in your Cage Card.
If I hadn’t stolen Kick-Ass, I’d have Face/Off, which might’ve served me even better…
Thank you Nick! I agree completely… although I think it was actually The Wicker Man that carried Dylan. People love them some bees…
