A few days ago, the latest Lambcast was posted, in which Jay was joined by Todd, Will, Matt and Pete to compete in drafting teams of movies from 1984.
If you’ve not listened to the show yet, you can find it here:

If you have listened, now it’s time to vote for whichever team you think won. The poll is here:
Results will be posted in a few weeks. Team champions, get campaigning. The rest of you, get voting!
Wow – such a tough call. I had to go for the one with Spinal Tap in (sorry the list has disappeared now I’ve voted so I can’t remember who it was) because it’s my second favourite film of all time.
After checking out the lists, I decided to pick Todd’s for one reason: Streets of Fire!
What a great year 1984 was, so many groundbreaking movies.
1984 was an awesome year for films. Went for Jay’s team. Terminator, Beverly Hills Cop & Splash! Gotta have some Tom Hanks up in there 😉
I finally got to the podcast and I was inspired by the variety of films that were picked. Todd had my three favorite films of the year plus Streets of Fire so he gets my vote. I’m sorry I missed out on participating. Just to tag along, here is a list of 6 that did not get picked that I’d be willing to back up:
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the Eighth Dimension
The Last Star Fighter
Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Starman
Footloose
Dune
Jay and his commercial slate get my vote. But it was close…
