Every now and then we celebrate the entire filmography of iconic directors on the Lambcast, so I recently posted a poll to see who else we should be talking about. There was a list of options, as with most polls, as well as an area for suggestions of your own. Many of you seemed to understand this system, and were able to vote accordingly. Well done to you all.
Here’s the results:
Basically, in 2015 you can look forward to shows on at least John Carpenter (although probably not for all of his movies, I think we’ll cut it down to 10 or so, as always suggestions are welcome) and Paul Thomas Anderson, possible tying into the upcoming release of his Inherent Vice, because sometimes the world works out nicely for everyone. We’ll also eventually cast a glance at the likes of Alexander Payne and Guillermo del Toro. I’d like to personally thank everyone who didn’t vote for David O. Russell or M. Night Shyamalan, which it turns out is most people.
As ever, if there’s any suggestions that weren’t on the list that you think would make a great show topic, by all means leave a remark in the comments. As for now, thanks everyone for voting, and if you want to be on shows for any of these people, be sure to keep an eye on the schedules and Twitter feed for the Lambcast, and sign up for shows when they are available.
