The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
This month there were only three submissions for potential Movies of the Month, with A Hard Day’s Night, No Country For Old Men and the director’s cut of Legend being submitted. Only one of these has been submitted before, and wouldn’t you know it, it only went and won. That’s right, the Movie of the Month for March is A Hard Day’s Night.
Congratulations go to Todd Liebenow of Forgotten Films, who in championing the victorious movie gets to host the upcoming Lambcast devoted to it. There’s still an open Wild Card slot on that show (recording date Sunday March 8th, 9am Pacific), so if you want to discuss whatever antics the Beatles get up to in this movie (seriously, I’ve no idea whatsoever) then please leave a message in the comments section, preferably in song.
As always, when that Lambcast is posted, any reviews the rest of the LAMB wishes to write about the film will be posted too. Please send in any submissions – new or old – to jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com by Monday 9th March. That day will also see the next poll go up, which will be a franchise special, so if you would like to champion a franchise for April’s MOTM, be sure to get in touch as well.
Here are the results of this month’s poll:
Forgotten Films will be ineligible to become a Champion for the next three months. To The Escape Hatch is ineligible for two more months. From the Depths of DVD Hell has one month of ineligibility. Exploding Helicopter becomes eligible next month.
