The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
Another Movie of the Month poll with a very eclectic mix of films that almost went in many different directions. In the end there were just a handful of votes between the top four movies, but of course there can only be one winner and for the month of May we’ll be talking about… Labyrinth.
Congratulations go to Todd Liebenow of Forgotten Films, whose adoration of Jennifer Connelly and puppetry in general has finally found a use. In winning the poll he also gets to host the feature discussion on the upcoming Lambcast devoted to it. If you’re a fan of Labyrinth and are interested in being a guest on that podcast, get in touch!
As always, when that Lambcast show is posted, any reviews the rest of the LAMB wishes to write about the films in question will be posted too. Please send in any submissions – new or old – to jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com by Saturday 14th May. Around that day will also see the next poll go up, so if you would like to champion the Movie of the Month for June, get in touch.
Here are the results of this month’s poll:
Forgotten Films will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. French Toast Sunday still has two months of ineligibility left. Coog’s Reviews will be ineligible for one more month. Journeys in Classic Film in now eligible again.
