The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
It was another exceedingly tight race for July’s Movie of the Month champion, with three films battling it out at the top spot. However, persistence has once again proven successful, as the winner of the latest poll goes to… The Towering Inferno.
Congratulations go to, well, me, Jay Cluitt of Life Vs Film (and the Lambcast, and the LAMB) for championing The Towering Inferno month after month until you all finally gave in and just let me have my way. Thanks! In winning the poll I’ll be hosting the upcoming Lambcast devoted to the film. If you’re a Towering Inferno fan or just want to talk about it, get in touch and you could be a part of the show too!
As always, when that Lambcast show is posted, any reviews the rest of the LAMB wishes to write about the films in question will be posted too. Please send in any submissions – new or old – to jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com by Monday 11th July. Around that day will also see the next poll go up, so if you would like to champion the Movie of the Month for August, get in touch.
Here are the results of this month’s poll:
Life Vs Film will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. The Madlab Post still has two months of ineligibility left. Forgotten Films will be ineligible for one more month. French Toast Sunday is now eligible again.
