The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
The LAMB site wasn’t entirely active for much of this month’s voting period, so we had less votes than usual and to compensate, all the films that didn’t win will get another chance at the title next month, if their champions wish. Despite the technical issues there is still a very clear winner for this month, with the movie’s champion getting in a significant amount of campaigning before the site crashed, so the movie of the month for July will be… Saving Private Ryan.
Congratulations go to Rob of MovieRob for successfully championing Saving Private Ryan victory. As such he also gets the opportunity to host the upcoming Lambcast devoted to it. If you’re a fan of the film and would like to be part of that show (recording 9th July) then get in touch! On the day that show is posted, here on the LAMB site you’ll also find links from the rest of the LAMB community dedicated to the film. If you have any reviews, features or podcasts about Saving Private Ryan, send a link to Jay on jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com.
Here are the results of this month’s poll:
MovieRob will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. The Code is Zeek still has two months of ineligibility left. Almost Ginger will be ineligible for one more month. Kirkham A Movie A Day is now eligible again.
