The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
It was a tough battle for supremacy this month, with pretty much every champion campaigning heavily for their chosen film to win the poll. Throughout almost the entirety of the voting period there was one film just in the lead, whose campaigner was going above and beyond on the leg work, and had the votes been closed 2 days earlier than they ultimately were then Vern would have won and we’d be talking about The Neon Demon next month. However, the day before the close Sean hit social media and caused an unprecedented surge in voting, so next month we’ll be talking about… Clue.
Congratulations to Sean of 1001 Movies Podcast for successfully championing Clue to victory. As such he also gets the opportunity to host the upcoming Lambcast devoted to it. If you’re a fan of the film and would like to be part of that show (recording 13th August) then get in touch! On the day that show is posted, here on the LAMB site you’ll also find links from the rest of the LAMB community dedicated to the film. If you have any reviews, features or podcasts about Clue, send a link to Jay on jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com.
Here are the results of this month’s poll:
1001 Movies Podcast will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. MovieRob still has two months of ineligibility left. The Code is Zeek will be ineligible for one more month. Almost Ginger is now eligible again.
