It’s time to announce June’s female-directed special Movie of the Month winner! Of course films directed by women can be championed any month of the year, but to guarantee at least one is in the conversation at some point every twelve months, we limit the films to only those directed by women for every June. Amongst this month’s options we had three very different horror or horror-adjacent films championed, and in fact they were the three most popular picks, but there can be only one winner so for June 2021 we’ll be discussing… Jennifer’s Body!

Congratulations go to first time MOTM winner Emily Slade from Why This Film podcast for successfully championing Jennifer’s Body to victory. As such Emily gets to host the upcoming Lambcast episode devoted to it!
