Lambcast #706 Decade Lookback 2013

by Richard Kirkham · October 10, 2023 · Featured, LAMBcast · No Comments

This Decade Lookback Show is actually looking back a decade. We get in our time traveling Blu-Ray player and visit the films of 2013. A day before recording, three guests had to drop out, but that did not prevent a wide assortment of films from being included. The Pineapple Kiosk rule was invoked only once in the course of the show.

Todd Liebenow felt that ten years was not long enough to forget some films, so his list consists of movies he just wants to talk about. Howard Casner, as usual, made up his list of the five films he thought were the best that year. David Brook almost had Five films that he’d scene at Cannes in 2013, but then “Ghost Shark” showed up.

We had an extended conversation about some of the great things that have happened in the movie business in the last ten years, and an even longer discussion of what hasn’t been so great.

So Start Listening or Download for later, because there are things you will want to know about here.
