Lambcast #752 Off the Beaten Path November 2024

by Richard Kirkham · November 5, 2024 · Featured, LAMBcast · No Comments

Every once in a while, the Lamb community collectively says, “Let’s Get Lost”. This week, we prove that “…all who wander, find some interesting stuff to talk about.”. Nicole Ayers, Dave Anderson and Damien Riley join the show this week and meander all over the cinematic landscape (or as we might say “Lambscape”).

From 1933 to 2024, we discover some under discussed movies, because that is the assignment. Let’s talk about a movie that you have not written about on your blog, covered on a podcast, or read about or listened to on someone else’s blog or podcast. We were not necessarily looking for the obscure but rather the untended. This week, as we go off the beaten path, we talk about more than a dozen films that might need a little tender loving care.

Nicole from the MadLabPost, has a few documentaries that she thinks need to be nurtured. Damien Riley, from “But I Digress”, goes seafaring and hooks a couple of waterlogged tales for us. Dave Anderson, not only tends to cats on “Free Kittens Movie Guide”, he also nurtures apocalyptic films to greater heights.

We also consider what would make us take up pen and start writing about movies. Come join us and see if you can find your own path as well.
