We had a draft last month on the Lambcast, selecting horror films from before 1973. Six LAMBs did their best to steal each others picks and find films they loved and thought the community would as well. There were multiple silent films from the 1920s chosen for the lists. We also had exploitation films from the early 1970s added to the choices. The Universal Monsters of the 1930s competed with zombie films from the 1960s. Paranoid atomic fears from the 1950s struggled to outmaneuver ghost stories from the 1940s to the 1960s. In other words, we found some terrific films, but there had to be a winner when the poll closed.
Aaron Neuwirth had the championship slate in this competition, with a mix of films that anyone can admire.
Congratulations to Aaron. You can listen to his podcast at Out Now with Aaron and Abe .
