IT’S THE 300TH SHOW!
Milestones aren’t really our thing on the Lambcast, but I had an idea for the 300th show that was just too good to pass up. Lambpardy! has been a staple of the Lambcast since the early days, and over the show’s run so far there’s been a total of seven winners, but which of them is truly the best? There can really be only one way to find out!

The cinematic world is full of films forever being remade and rebooted, so it’s time for a whole new kind of Lambcast show devoted to these things, kicking off with a voyage to Skull Island to look at the many faces of King Kong.
Jay Cluitt was joined by Robert Zerbe, Aaron Neuwirth and David Brook to look at the respected original 1933 King Kong, the far sleazier 1976 version and Peter Jackson’s divisive 2005...
Last year we celebrated the movies of 1984 with our 1984 Movie Draft. It was a great show, but the only problem was that Jay the host hadn’t seen very many films released in 1984, because he’s a child. Thus, it was clear we had to do a draft from a year he was more well versed in, so we chose 1999, because it’s The Year That Changed Movies [citation needed].
Jay was joined by Robert, Dylan, Matthew and Nolahn...
In the least surprising podcast release in history, we’re doing a show on Jurassic World! Dinosaurs! Running! Screaming! People dying in horrific, bitey ways! Yay!
Jay Cluitt was joined by a pack of other Jurassic fans in the forms of Robert Zerbe, Lindsay Street and newcomer Sofia da Costa as well as a somewhat lesser fan in the form of Will Slater to dissect the movie, going into full spoilers on who...
We live in a new age of media. An age when the goods on the small screen rival the quality of those on the big. When Hollywood A-listers choose to work on TV, when in the past it was seen as a barren wasteland for has-beens or not-yets. And yet, in this hallowed age, it seems we still haven’t reached a point where five guys can get together to chat about TV for a couple of hours without Skype toying with them like a kid pulling the legs...
In recent Movies of the Month we’ve gone from last month’s Spring Breakers – a film many think should have been up for several Oscars – to this month’s The Wolf of Wall Street, which perhaps received too many nominations. Don’t agree? Can’t understand what I’m talking about? Well you better listen to the show then.

The great thing about the format of the Lambcast is that, if I can’t think of anything to talk about one week, our guests will bring something along for me. Thus is the unfiltered joy of a Bring Your Own Discussion Topic.
Robert was joined by Will, Nick and Lackey for a tangent-filled dialogue covering behind the scenes upsets, Star Wars anticipation, marketing issues, life-affecting movies and many more things...
The great thing about Fury Road, other than literally everything in the movie, is that it’s inspiring many people to go back and seek out the earlier instalments of George Miller’s Mad Max franchise. And wouldn’t you know it? We went and did the same thing.

Normally on the Lambcast we like to talk about good movies. We like to recommend stuff we think you’ll like, to advise you on what you should be watching. However, every now and then it’s time to name and shame the so-called films that should never be seen by anyone, and that time is now.

...Get ready to have your mind blown. For the Furious 7 show, there’s 7 guests! I know! It’s almost as ludicrous as this movie!
Jay couldn’t review this film without his crew, so he assembled the best of the best members of the Lambcast family to discuss the film. He was joined by his co-driver Robert, as well as Courtney, Joel, Jess, DJ and newcomer Clint to handle the curves, tackle the climbs and slow...
Sometimes the best discussions come from the most unexpected of places, and few places could be more unexpected than the Airport franchise. When it won the Movie of the Month poll, the phrases on everyone’s minds ranged from “How?” to “What is that?” to “Did he typo Airplane?” but it turned out that not only were these films far from a drag to watch, they inspired one of the greatest...
Who knows what will happen on a Roll Your Own Top 5 show?
This week Jay and Robert were joined by Jason, Nick and Pete to each do their own Top 5 list on absolutely anything they liked – movie related, of course. So settle in for lists on annoying depictions of Brits, 80s horror movies, New Orleans, voyeurism and some classic Arnie cheese. Also on tap are Rants and Raves of the Week and a couple of rounds of Last Lamb...
