Last year we celebrated the movies of 1984 with our 1984 Movie Draft. It was a great show, but the only problem was that Jay the host hadn’t seen very many films released in 1984, because he’s a child. Thus, it was clear we had to do a draft from a year he was more well versed in, so we chose 1999, because it’s The Year That Changed Movies [citation needed].
Jay was joined by Robert, Dylan, Matthew and Nolahn to compete in assembling the best possible teams of movies from the very end of the 20th Century. The draft teams will be posted in a few days, but for now you can listen to the show to find out what we all thought about some of the bigger – and smaller – movies from 1999.
Also on tap: Rants and Raves of the Week and a couple of rounds of Last Lamb Standing.
The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online. The direct RSS feed is: http://lambcast.podomatic.com/entry/2015-07-02T15_24_30-07_00. Shows will eventually make their way to the LAMBcast Archives. If you’d ever like to catch up on back episodes, go there. If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. Opening song by Cake. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too – if you’d like yours read on a future show, leave it in the comments section at the LAMB. Please visit and like our Facebook page, and finally, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one. Thanks for listening!
