There wasn’t a whole lotta love this go around for the MOTM. What happened to everybody? Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, suggested by J.D. at Valley Dreamin’ was this month’s random pick, and seemed to spark some excitement when I announced it back in July. Here’s some link love for the (very few) participating LAMBs.
The Flick Chick
No Smoking in the Skullcave
Random Ramblings of a Demented Doorknob
Rachel’s Reel Reviews
Thank you to all LAMBs who reviewed this month’s film. It’s good to have a movie that finally gets mixed emotions.
Next up for the MOTM is Eurotrip, suggested by Nick at Random Ramblings of a Demented Doorknob. Now get it, watch it, review it and send me the link to your review at rachelcminyard@hotmail.com. Please let me know what your site is and what your feelings (love, hate, don’t care) toward the movie are in the email. Please mention the LAMB MOTM feature in your post and link back to the LAMB. I need your reviews by noon (CST) on September 29th. Hope to hear from more of you next month.
If you’re not really sure what all this MOTM talk is about, check related posts here, or email me with questions.
Cheers!
Bleh.
Yay, Eurotrip!
I was distracted by school, but had I taken the time, I would have been in the LAMB love category.
I guess I joined up too late to know about it. What’s the next movie of the month?
effin awesome! Yay EuroTrip! Glad my movie finally got chosen
.
I’m surprised that Fletch didn’t even get a vote in, though…
Well, you KNOW I love the movie (#25, baby) but between blogger being a bitch and the new job, there was no time.
I can’t believe that I was the only one who reviewed it and really, really liked it.
I wouldn’t say it’s my favorite Miyazaki film, but it’s still a great film.
Eurotrip??? I would have never expected that one to be on the list, but I guess I’m up for the challenge.
Miyazaki is great but even he can’t get me to watch Nausicaa. I saw a bit of it once and found it dull. Ditto Eurotrip.
You found Eurotrip dull? How? There’s always something awesome happening
.
Between multiple trips out of town and being unable to find this movie with any ease, I took the month off. Eurotrip should be much easier – and I’ve even seen much of it already.
