Who’s ready for some thrilling non-fiction cinema? (Wait, no -don’t leave!…)
North America’s biggest documentary film festival, HOT DOCS, is coming to Toronto from April 26th to May 6th. The line-up announced includes features about a reggae legend, a movie star who seems to mutli-task like he’s on steroids, an ex-NHL all-star, the state of the once-mighty city of Detroit, and a penis museum in Iceland.
(But why is the penis museum in Iceland?)
The Matinee will be providing extensive coverage including reactions to screenings, conversations with directors, special doc-centered episodes of The Matineecast, and much more.
The Hot Docs website with schedules and info regarding all the films and events can be found here and all of my festival coverage can be found here.
Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, don’t get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details (what, when, where, and a link, for starters) – I’ll handle the rest.
