Do you have what it takes to be a Movie of the Month Champion?

Actually, that was somewhat rhetorical, as it doesn’t really take all that much. Anyway, the call is officially out for those interested in championing a film for the next MOTM/LAMBcast.

Here are the finer details:

* If your championed film wins, you get to not only appear on that month’s LAMBcast, but to ‘host’ the MOTM segment – explain why you chose the film, what you might like (or dislike) about it, guide the discussion, etc.

* To prevent highly influential LAMBs from dominating the feature every month, we’re putting a small rule in place: the Champion with the winning film won’t be eligible to participate in the Champions event for the following three months. We want you to participate but not dominate.

* If you would like to volunteer, send an email to dylan at manilovefilms.com by Saturday, April 14th with your name, site name and film selection. Volunteers from last month will be welcome, but I will (barring something unforeseen) be going with the first 10 people to hit me up. The only people not eligible this month are Fogs of Fogs’ Movie Reviews and the gang from French Toast Winners, as they’re the last two winners.  The next MOTM LAMBcast is scheduled to record on May 6th at 9:00am Pacific time, so you must be able to make that show. (Films previously chosen as MOTM – I’ll let you know if you have chosen one of these films.)
