LAMBcast #112: Whatcha Been Watchin’ Lately?

by Dylan · April 30, 2012 · LAMBcast, Podcasts · 2 Comments

My apologies to Jessica, Tom, Steve, and Nick – they’ve probably almost forgotten that we even recorded this episode, it feels so long since we did it (if some of the Rants or Raves seem a bit outdated, now you know why).  Anyway, our feature discussion is one that can’t grow moldy, as we each took a look back at a recent viewing that we wished to discuss.  On top of that, we present you with one of the lengthier and more spirited Rants sections that we’ve had in some time.  Lots of anger to be dealt with!

Also on tap:

* Rants of the Week
* Raves of the Week
* Last LAMB Standing

A couple notes:

* Due to Podomatic bandwidth calculation, I’ve gotten rid of the embeddable player that is usually included with these posts. The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online.

* Shows will eventually make their way to the LAMBcast Archives. If you’d ever like to catch up on back episodes, go there.

* If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. Opening song by Cake. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too – if you’d like yours read on a future show, leave it in the comments section at the LAMB. Please visit and like our Facebook page, and finally, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one.

Thanks for listening!

    Great rant, Steve. I haven’t had a nasty comment on my blog yet, but I did get a ridiculous e-mail from the actor on an indie movie a while back when I wrote from another site. He told me to “get off my thrown” and gave some other colorful language towards me. A few days later, the film’s director wrote another nasty e-mail, which did have fewer spelling mistakes. It’s safe to say that I didn’t like the movie.

    I agree with the issues with commenting. I have mine set up to accept anyone, but having to join Open ID or something similar is irritating.

    Fun show!
