LAMBcast #127: Roll Your Own Top 5

by Dylan · August 13, 2012 · LAMBcast, Podcasts · 6 Comments

I don’t want to oversell his participation or downplay the involvement of others on the show, but there’s something about the rarity of a Nolahn appearance on the LAMBcast that makes it a must-listen show.  That something is actually probably two big somethings, one being his Steve Honeywell-like epic rants and the second actually being the subject of this show: his ability to make hilarious, off-kilter top five lists.

Combine him with his podcast partner (they co-host The Lair of the Unwanted together) Jason, as well as Nick, Dan Heaton and Sebastian, and you have all the makings for an epic LAMBcast.  And so it was…

Also on tap:

* Rants and Raves of the Week
* Last LAMB Standing

A few notes:

* The show can be found, of course, via iTunes – just do a search for “LAMBcast.” Also, I always post a link to the show on the LAMBcast’s Facebook page, and there’s a player there if you’d like to listen online.

* Shows will eventually make their way to the LAMBcast Archives. If you’d ever like to catch up on back episodes, go there.

* If you’re interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster – we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod’s Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. Opening song by Cake. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too – if you’d like yours read on a future show, leave it in the comments section at the LAMB. Please visit and like our Facebook page, and finally, we’re on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it’s a bad one.

Thanks for listening!

  1. Joel Burman says:

Nick: The extended Mel Gibson film you are referring to is Payback.

  2. SJHoneywell says:

So…wait. I never really thought the rants were that legendary. You’re telling me they are?

  3. Dylan says:

    * I always love *them*, anyway.

  4. TheVern says:

Great show. Nolahn’s list of movies being improved by car chases was very funny and extremely clever.

You might have to lock me up because I really enjoyed “Antichrist” and it wasn’t for the extreme violence shown. It was because of the harrowing and brave performances from Charlotte Gainsbourg and William Dafoe. It has beautiful visuals and a haunting score. It’s a horror movie about how our own guilt and self loathing can destroy not only ourselves but the ones we care about as well.
