The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!
The five very different movies up against one another this month were Pacific Rim, It Follows, Body Double, The World’s End and Out of Sight. All worthy choices, but there can of course be only one winner. It’s time to round up your mates and head to the pub for a batch of bevvies, because this month’s winner is Edgar Wright’s The World’s End.
Congratulations go to Justin Gott and Pete Conway from Man I Love Films, who in winning the poll get spots on the upcoming Lambcast show devoted to the movie, and get to host the feature discussion between them as well.
As always, when that Lambcast is posted, any reviews the rest of the LAMB wishes to write about the film in question will be posted too. Please send in any submissions – new or old – to jaycluitt(at)hotmail.com by Monday 7th September. That day will also see the next poll go up, so if you would like to champion a film for October’s Horror Special MOTM, be sure to get in touch as well.
Here are the results of this month’s poll:
As next month is a special Horror edition of MOTM, no-one will be ineligible. However, after next month Man I Love Films will be ineligible to become a Champion for the next two months. Forgotten Films will be ineligible for one more month. Blueprint: Review and Journeys in Classic Film will then both be eligible again.
