The Movie of the Month for April 2017 is…

The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!

It’s franchise time for the latest Movie of the Month. Five very different movie series were put forward, but of course there can be only one winner, and so for the month of April we’re going to be talking about… the Dirty Harry franchise!

Congratulations go to Richard Kirkham of Kirkham A Movie A Day and The Strother Martin Film Project, who campaigned heavily to achieve the victory (or he was just feeling lucky, punk). In winning the poll Richard gets the chance to host the upcoming Lambcast devoted to the film. As always, when the Lambcast show is posted, any reviews, features or podcasts the rest of the LAMB wishes to submit about the franchise of any of the individual films (Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Enforcer, Sudden Impact and The Dead Pool) will be posted too. Please send in any submissions – new or old – to jaycluitt(at) by Monday 16th April. Around that day will also see the next poll go up, so if you would like to champion the Movie of the Month for May 2017, get in touch.

Here are the results of this month’s poll:
Kirkham A Movie A Day will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. The Lair of the Unwanted still has two months of ineligibility left. Vern’s Video Vortex will be ineligible for one more month. Journeys in Classic Film is now eligible again.
