The latest Movie of the Month has been decided upon!

We had a bumper crop of thirteen movies to pick from for the latest MOTM poll. That may have been too many, causing the votes to be split amongst several films, or the outcome might not have changed regardless of how many films were submitted. Either way, there’s only one winner, so for the month of June we’ll be talking about… The Shawshank Redemption!

Congratulations go to Rob from MovieRob for getting busy championing The Shawshank Redemption to victory. As such he also gets the opportunity to host the upcoming Lambcast show devoted to it.  On the day that show is posted, here on the LAMB site you’ll also find links from the rest of the LAMB community dedicated to the film. MovieRob will be ineligible to champion a MOTM contender for the next three months. Forgotten Films still has two months of ineligibility left. The Mundane Adventures of a Fangirl will be ineligible for one more month. 1001 Movies and Beyond is now eligible again.
