As we enter a new era on the Lambcast, we are starting with a subject that has been exceptionally rare the last few months, an actual theatrical release. While movie theaters around the world are shutdown in different cities due to the pandemic, there are a few places that have opened up, and just in time for the holiday season, that is if you Consider Friday the 13th a holiday.
“Freaky” is a mashup of slasher horror and body swap genres. It comes from the makers of “Happy Death Day” so there is a decided comedic bent to the film as well. Richard is joined this week by one Lamb who broke their own nine month theater drought with this film, another who managed to sneak in some screenings between shutdowns in their town, and a longtime member of the Lamb community who is making their Lambcast debut with this show.
So come along for murder, comedy and a somewhat warped moment of mother daughter bonding.
