The Lambcast tries to catch up with a bucketload of movies that have opened in the last couple months by having our guests bring three new films to the discussion this week. Jeffrey Lyles of “Lyles Movie Files” returns to the show with some Glen Powell appreciation. Tony Coogan of “Coogs Reviews” has a documentary and a new animated classic to talk about. The Vern from “Cinema Recall” compares notes with Richard on MaXXXine” and reminds us that Eddie Murphy is still alive and kicking.
We share a few overlapping choices and also have some out of left field selections for you. If you listen in you will find streaming films and theatrical releases and a lot of enthusiasm.
At the end of the general discussion we toss in some extra choices and then for the Exit Question we review the first six months of 2024, looking for surprises and disappointments.
