Welcome to this year’s Lion Awards. Over the next 10 days we’ll be celebrating the best of cinema for 2013, as voted on by the members of the LAMB. Here’s the lineup of awards, by order of announcement:

For the 206th episode of the Lambcast we took a look at the latest remake to come out of Hollywood, Jose Padilha’s reboot of Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 sci-fi cult classic Robocop. Does it hold up to the original? Is Joel Kinnaman a decent Alex Murphy? Are Michael Keaton and Kevin Costner the same person? And, most importantly, will you buy it for a dollar?
